If you don’t want to walk around take a rickshaw ride. You can find rickshaw drivers near the Kaminarimon Gate of Senso-ji Temple. They will show you some of the local Sakura spots and can take pictures of you. You can also take a Cherry Blossom Cruise on Sumida River and see the cherry blossoms from a Yakatabune boat while you enjoy a Japanese meal. See the page of the Tokyo Yakatabune Association for details and to make reservations. http://www.yakatabune-kumiai.jp/en/
Senso-ji Temple and Garden in Asakusa
The temple is illuminated in the evening. This makes the red color of the buildings glow. The Main Hall, Hozomon Gate, Kaminarimon Gate, and the Pagoda are all great photo motives. You can use them to compose pictures with cherry blossoms and traditional architecture right here in the city. The temple also has a Japanese garden that is open now.
