Shichifukujin-mairi - Visiting the Seven Lucky Gods
Shichifukujin-mairi is a visit to the shrines and temples of the Seven Lucky Gods in one area, especially during the first days of January. The “shichifukujin” are the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan: Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Hotei, Jurojin, and Fukurokuju.
- Yanaka Shichifukujin: Togaku-ji Temple, Seiun-ji Temple, Shusho-in Temple, Tenno-ji Temple, Choan-ji Temple, Gokoku-in Temple, Shinobazu Benten-do
Shitaya Shichifukujin: Juei-ji Temple, Tobifudo Shoboin, Benten-in, Hosho-ji Temple, Eishin-ji Temple, Iriya Kishimojin, Motomishima Shrine
Asakusa Shichifukujin: Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Shrine, Matsuchiyama Shoden, Imado Shrine, Hashiba Fudoson, Ishihama Shrine, Otori Shrine, Yoshiwara Shrine, Yasaki Inari Shrine
