From Narita and Haneda airport you can take trains that go directly to Ueno, Asakusa, or Nippori near Yanaka. Airport buses serve major hotels in Taito. JR Tokyo station is only 10 minutes away from Ueno on the Yamanote line.

Some of Tokyo’s top attractions are located within Taito. There are many temples and shrines here, including Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. See Ueno Zoo and the cherry blossoms in Ueno Park. Go to Ameyoko market and other popular shopping streets like Kappabashi, Yanaka Ginza, 2k540 Aki-Oka Artisan, and Nakamise. Ueno Station is one of the main hubs of Tokyo, especially for travel by train to Japan’s northern regions. From Taito you also have easy access to Tokyo Skytree, Akihabara, and Ginza.
